We are pleased to announce the addition of Physical Therapy to our services. Those of us who have experienced an injury or surgery know just how beneficial physical therapy can be. Rehabilitation exercises lessen pain, strengthen muscles, and speed up the recovery process, helping the body to get back into shape after a traumatic event.
But physical therapy isn’t just for humans anymore. Rehabilitation is increasingly prescribed for our companions to address issues such as mobility, pain, and joint damage due to orthopedic surgery, musculoskeletal injury, arthritis, obesity, paralysis, neurological disease, and more.
We are happy to introduce our new physical therapist, Michelle Lewandowski. Michelle has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 25 years. Michelle has an AS in Animal Science and a BS in Biology. She also has her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) Certification and currently working on her MS. She is a wonderful addition to our BVC team, and we are thrilled that she is going to be able to offer your companions this invaluable service.
We are constantly thriving to provide best care for our patients and with the addition of physical therapy we are offering another layer to help them lead a fulfilled, pain free life.
